Yoga Near meLevel 1 – Beginners

Level 1 Students are taught the foundation syllabus,with an emphasis on simple techniques to engage in  postural alignment. These classes are appropriate for Beginners, or those who are new to yoga, or interested in learning the benefits of Yoga practice. All Yoga classes finish with instruction of skills on learning how to relax.

Level 2Yoga Classes in Perth

The Level 2 class is suitable for those who have attended the level 1 for at least 3 months. Level 2 students develop a further understanding of the benefits of alignment, sequencing and longer timings. This allows for the introduction of how to work with inversions and backbends.

Level 3Yoga in Perth

At Level 3 students develop, maintain and work with their own practice. At Level 3 students start to recognise the how and what to do instruction and they develop their own personal understanding of owning a practice. In these yoga classes the full range of asana groups are explored, including the arm balancing’s, inversions, twisting’s, backbends, seated and standing poses as well as restorative sequences.

In a sense all yoga is mindful. Yoga’s inherent nature is awareness of the body and breath. At the Home of Yoga we teach all our classes with this understanding. In the Mindful Yoga classes we simply give more time and attention to the process.

Relax Therapeutic Restorative YogaRestorative Yoga Perth

In this very special class we will do poses that work on old injuries, strengthening weak areas, and postural alignment of the body. Healthy backs, knees, shoulders, necks, ankles, reproductive organs and of course calm minds.

This is a passive yoga class using yoga props and holding positions for longer amounts of time. We will introduce meditation into your yoga and many new poses that facilitate rejuvenation of the entire being. Bolsters, blankets, walls, swiss balls, breath, massage and heaps of loving support will be used as a way for you to find the path to good health, relaxation, and a happy stress free life.

This is a great class for tight areas and a better understanding of your yoga. Another good name would be wellness yoga. Sam is lucky enough to have learned the use of all these props from both B.K.S. Iyengar and Sw.Satya Pujari over many years and classes.

Yoga to stretch your body and mind. Preparing you for the upcoming event of birth and parenting. Strengthen your back and legs to support your growing body and baby. Have fun and create an open healthy birthing body.

We support your birth choices and encourage you to get the type of birth you feel safe with. We explore active and natural birth preparation so you have lots of choice and information. Meet other parents and new friends going through what you are feeling right now. Find ways dad’s and family can support you before, during and after the birth. Lots of birthing positions and natural pain relief demonstrated.
